FUNCTIONS To ensure the implementation of the AFP Code of Ethics especially its integration, internalization and institutionalization To pursue a continuous organizational development process to suit AFP's ultimate vision to eradicate graft and corruption in the military establishment To conduct continuous education and information An ethical security guard would ensure that only people authorized to enter the space are allowed to gain access whereas an unethical one may allow unauthorized people in exchange for money Using the example of professional conduct, a professional guard would usually be polite, uniformed, trained and informed Code of Conduct • Every security guard should always carry their license, identification card, and authority to carry a firearm • Every security guard should never use their post, weapon or position for personal gains • Security guards should not engage in unnecessary conversation during their time of duty
